#asktheexpert hello!! My 1.8 years old boy got hit by the coffee table 2 days back.. Now he got light blue patch on it (between tumb and index finger as shown in pic).. Still he is able to operate those fingers... Is his hand OK?

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist1 Year agoA. Hello mom , as he is able to use it as usual should be fine , in case you apply some pressure on that area and if the pain or discomfort shown by the baby is quite a lot and unbearable then consult otherise just apply arnica gel

It would just be Neill because sometimes it happens when the place gets hot it appears but it is going to settle down over the period for that if you want you can keep ice cube or cold pack onto that area to settle it down otherwise it is going to take about a week to 10 days to subside on its own
