Q.

Hello moms please tell Is this diet of one day enough for my 10 months old child ?? Half small katori cerelac Half small katori vegetable of any kind ( tori, kaddu, ghiya) 3-4 tea spoons of pomegranate juice Half chapati with mashed aloo and 2-3 spoons of curd One apple and 3-4 bites of papaya Half small katori dal chawal or khichdi Please tell should I increase her diet or not ??

A. Milk- restrict to 500 ml including dairy products. give 3 meals which are substantial including rice, roti , basically cereals, with veggies , dals so proteins are also covered. then snacks should be again healthy comprising of fruits, variety of recipes. easy to munch on. try finger foods too.

A. hello . it's perfect...your baby is getting sufficient.You can start with three meals a day plan... Morning you can give breakfast like ragi porridge, rava porridge, dosa, idly, upma Followed by a glass of milk Afternoon khichadi, rice Dal and vegetables Evening one glass milk with fruits Night khichadi or chapati soaked in Dal or rotis Before sleep a glass of milk.. Banana, aloo, curds helps to increase weight.. Example of foods you can give: Whole wheat idli or dosa Moog dal khichdi Upma with vegetables Dalia porridge Homemade milkshakes with fresh fruits Boiled or scrambled eggs Vegetable soup Homemade halwa Mildly spiced sambar.
