Hello mommies.. please help me.
My baby is going to complete 8 months but he wants to be in lap all the time. He cries alot. He does not let me or my husband to leave from lap. If i do household works then baby cries alot.. He also cries alot when he wants to sleep.. He loves to be in lap all the time. He is unable to sit even without support as he does not show interest in sitting. I have cervical problem after delivery so i am unable to hold my baby for long time while walking as he is growing now and does not let me sit for a while. My husband scolds me when baby cries that i dont know how to grow child.
I am unable to do any work. I am very much worried about my baby and his growth.
Please help.

yes you should introduce various toys to your baby like rattles, rings, soft balls, colorful teether
...which will engage him...and also cross check as baby may have colic or teething pain as this can also be the reason for continuous crying

The great thing about babies are they are mostly happy just having mom near them. Their are lots of ways to interact a 7 month old ......even when they are crying .... . Naming colors of the objects they are playing with, singing counting songs as you count out toys. My son was at that age fell deeply attached to the five little monkey songs...  play rhymes... play with your baby ... give expression on each talk ...
Mostly it's just being creative. For example the monkey song, Five little monkeys jumping on the bed (mom jumps), one fell off and bopped his head (mom touches her head) momma called the doctor and the doctor said (mom makes phone motion) no more monkeys jumping on the bed (mom shakes head no.As they grow they start to mimic things and then it's them doing the jumping shaking.... 
I know this is a tough phase for you but it will pass too... do not worry ... happens to most of mothers ....keep patience... may be he will not show attention while doing first time ... by time he start taking interest...
