Hello mom, I am having 2 months old baby. I am using antibiotic tablets for urine infection. Can I breastfeed my baby. Will the antibiotics effect my baby

A. yes it will impact.. so till you get completely cured and taking medicines.. you can give him the formula milk by spoon and bowl... don't use bottle.. as it will be very difficult to resume the breastfeeding again if you give him bottle.. also till then you can continuously express your milk and throw it.. to maintain your milk supply... also ask your doctor regarding the fact that whether you can breastfeed him or not...

A. Hello dear Yes you can feed your baby..Your doctor must have given it to you after keep in mind that you are a lactating mother..Plus have lots of liquids to correct urine infections and also it helps in good milk production..
