hello.. meri beti avi 2.8yrs ki hai,usko har 15/20 din me thand ho jati hai,uska body thoda tapta hai,halka garam lagta hai,kya karna hai kuch suggestions dijiye main care leti hun bt kuch kaam nahi aa raha hai.plz bataiye main kya karun

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which suthould be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
