Hello Mam, Can i give soothers to my one month old baby? is it beneficial?

ExpertDr. Arva BhavnagarwalaPaediatrician6 years agoA. If it is required, you can give. The only problem with them is they are very easy to introduce, but difficult to wean off. So only if it is absolutely required, use them.

No it is not a good choice to give soothers as it can be a habit for the baby which will be very difficult to get rid off one the baby habituated by it . So try not to give any kind of soothers. Also it may lead to disinterest towards breast/bottles which is not good for their overall growth and development
