Q.

Hello madam, my baby is 63 days old she always stare at my hand or fall asleep as soon as she starts breast feeding. She is not at all looking at my face during breast feeding. Is it normal?

A. yes that's normal you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping . there is no need to to go for fixed feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits . also if the weight gain of the child every month is normal then no need to worry regarding the pattern of breastfeeding

A. Okay so here I would like to tell you that kids do not have a clear vision in this age they basically gain their vision after completing the time of three months so after that you will see that when the child would look at you and things would be different that way but as of now this is a very normal behaviour for your child
