hello ma'am my baby boy sucks a empty nipple all the time , he don't breastfeed directly I put bottle nipple on my breasts then he drink my breast milk, is there any harm becoz he don't suck directly to my breast n he cries a lot it takes an hour while doing breast feeding n my milk supply is also less ,so when he don't Stop crying I gave him bolttle nipple empty .... is air goes while sucking it empty.... he has a gas prblm ,he put lots of pressure while passing a gas ... plss help me out, what should I do for it

A. Please stop giving empty nipples it is harmful for babies and you can see the baby struggling To pass gas. And To increase milk, add papaya, flax seeds, cumin seeds, ajwain into your diet. Drink plenty of water and keep yourself hydrated. The more the baby latches the more you produce milk. Keep a check on the baby's pee count, if it is more than 6 times a day then nothing to worry, it's a clear sign that the baby is getting enough milk.
