It’s a very common kind of a thing in pregnancy but sometimes it could be associated with deficiency of calcium and sometimes it could be an issue called pica if you would like to eat anything which is inedible so you can check with your doctor start with necessary supplements

I too had craving for 4-5 days during my second trimester..than I started adding more iron and protein in diet . like every day spinach, pomegranate etc .. atleast 100gm of paneer or 2 eggs daily.. it stopped.. that is what I did
AnnaMom of a 1 yr 7 m old child1 Year agoA. This condition is called pica. it can happen to anyone but most especially in pregnancy women with nutritional deficiencies i.e. Iron (Iron Deficiency anemia, zinc, B vitamins, etc.. Please ask your OB about this.
