Q.

Hello, I’m pregnant and my diastolic blood pressure is always on higher end 85-95 whereas systolic blood pressure is within range. My resting pulse rate also remain between 100-110. Should i take any medicine for that ?

A. Pulse rate is definitely high and we need to find out what is the reason for that. Even if the systolic BP is normal diastolic BP e is more important in pregnancy. If it is raising anywhere between 90 then you have to consult your gynaecologist immediatelyWrite Your Answer Here

A. Hello mam since you are pregnant without checkup no medication can be suggested to you. I would advise you if you won’t take any medication or you have any kind of discomfort with your BP then please discuss it with your gynaecologist and if she’s advises you are suggestive then only you can go for a medication or not. I would advise you not to take any medication by just discussing it with anybody or for anything else without consulting your gynaecologist who have been visiting for the longest time
