Q.

hello i have a 5 years old daughter.. 3 days ago she had a cold.. and dr give her infection antibiotic.. dr prescribe 2 doses in a day morning and night.. i misunderstood and i gave her 3 doses in a day.. so i want to know any side effect of this??

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which nee beds treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
