hello i am mother of one month old baby girl,my nipples are cracked or sore while feeding her its very painful in the beginning used nipcare but not useful.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear mum the most common reason is due to improper latching of baby to breast
take care that the maximum possible areola of breast should be in baby's mouth while feeding baby should not be just sucking at the nipple
baby mouth should be wide open at the time of latching
main take help from lactation consultant if required
it is best to apply breast milk especially hindmilk it has great healing properties
do not wear a bra until healing
