Mom of a 2 yr old boy2 years ago
Q.

Hello. I am mother of a 20 day old baby boy. He sometimes chokes on milk while breastfeeding. He won't burp most of the times. While breastfed, that doesn't make a concern but when formula fed, there has been occasional spilling of milk. Are these normal?

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is always advisable to give baby breastfeeding exclusively for the first six months as it is total food for a baby and also good for baby better immune system. Also give baby in little bit upright position and also hold baby 15-20 minutes in upright position after feed and burp. Take care
