Q.

hello frnds my son is 3 years and 1 month old and I is thalassemia minor so his iron level is low please tell me what type of diet I can give him to increase his HB level..His latest Hb level is 7.90gm.

A. 7.9 is too lesz, give him syp irex daily. give iron rich diet to your baby.. Pulses, such as baked beans, kidney beans, chickpeas, garbanzo beans, lentils, and peas are extremely good for your baby as they are rich in iron. Offer fruits like pomegranate, apple, raspberry, strawberry, kiwi, banana. Veggies like moringa leaves, Broccoli, Beet root, , lufa, and Spinach is another iron-loaded vegetable. Dried apricots, figs, raisins and prunes

A. First of all it’s very very important that you go ahead with giving a good iron supplement to the child that’s definitely going to be along with that also I was strongly recommend you to consult a diet plan with a nutritionist they’ll be able to help you properly for this
