Q.

Hello Everyone, My son is 9 month old weighing 8.2 Kg, from past 10-12 days he do not want to feed anything, his diet has been reduced, earlier he use to have approx 6-7 ounce of milk at a time and was able to have half small katori of semi solid at a time with an average time gap of 2.5 hrs to 3 hours now he use to have only 3-4 ounces of milk at a time and just take 1/4 small katori of semi solid that to with some force, I am worried why he don't want to eat anymore. The child is otherwise healthy and playful.Pls suggest in this regard.

A. dear if your child is not sick then the other various reasons for loss of appetite could be that child is bored of the type of food: so offer different food groups in the form of interesting recipes change in routine or other stressful event: look for this and try to make the child as comfortable as possible. spend time with the child. also involve in helping you out in kitchen for example getting things encourage Meal time along with family lack of appetite due to hot weather so include green leafy vegetables fruits ,salad buttermilk and Hing , jeera, mint for appetite
