Q.

Hello everyone, In my 5 years old kid there is a kindney stone of 3.5mm and both the kidneys are swelling. Doctor says this is Hydropronsis is this correct?. He also says this is from beginning (by birth) but my child doesn’t had Urine infection at all till now. What we usually think is due to kidney stones kidneys are swelling. Can some one clarify this doubt?.

A. It can be there from the time of birth itself but actually on these things we cannot provide your confirmation a proper test report is checked and everything after that only anything is suggested I would advise taking opinion from another kidney specialist to clear all the doubts about it
