Q.

hello Dr., we give my babies cow milk for feed. but some dr. says that it is not good for their proper growth , they can be anemic , feed with formula milk or Buffalo milk. here is problem to get pure Buffalo milk. then how can cow milk be strengthen by adding something to increase iron and other contents.?????

A. You should avoid giving cow milk to the baby and continue with formula milk to the milk as it provides a balance of iron and other essential vitamins to the baby

A. See Initial 12 months you should not be giving any animal milk to the child it is not recommended maybe that is why your doctor is saying like this and if you think that your child is low on iron then you should start with iron supplements milk is not going to help it and as of now you can give Amul Taza kind of a milk and introduce animal milk after 13 to 14 months
