Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. adenoids are very commonly infected in children but usually do not increase in size to a limit to cause breathing difficulty as well as other problems so if it is causing sleeping and breathing difficulty then only any surgical intervention is required
