hello dr my son is 8months old , we did his stool reports and have found occult blood present in it. we did antibiotic cource for a week but still there is occult blood in his stool. what could be the reason? is it a sign to worry ?

A. That can probably be due to some infection into the stomach of your child because when you see blood into the poop of your child that mostly is an infection only now it is viral infection or bacterial that your doctor would be able to advise you
