A. A 2-month-old baby with a hernia and PUJ (Pelvi-Ureteric Junction obstruction) needs careful medical monitoring. Hernias in infants often require surgical evaluation to prevent complications, especially if they cause pain or swelling. PUJ obstruction affects urine flow from the kidney and may need ultrasound monitoring and possible treatment to protect kidney function. Follow your pediatric surgeon’s and nephrologist’s advice closely, attend all check-ups, and report any changes like swelling, pain, or reduced urine output immediately. Early treatment is important for the best outcome.
