Hello Dr.. my son is 1 year & 2 months old. For the past one week he is not urinating properly. Most of the time he urinates after stimulating. During nights he stays without urinating for for than 12 hours. I'm worried much. Is that anything need to be addressed or how to treat it...

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. In infants and toddlers, persistently dry diapers are a telltale sign of dehydration. If your baby is younger than 6 months and produces little to no urine in 4 to 6 hours, or if your toddler produces little to no urine in 6 to 8 hours, they may be dehydrated.

Hi Increase water intake of your baby Give more water and fluid Also if baby don’t like to use washroom you can use MamyPoko pants daily it’s available in different size upto xxxl It has the capacity to absorb up to 7 glasses of urine so it prevents leakage without heaviness for upto 12 hours Hence giving the mother and the baby a peaceful and sound sleep
