Hello Dr. my daughter is 1yr 1mnth old. she is suffering from fever & lose motion.. plz tell me what can I feed him?

A. you will have to give ors for every episode of loose motion. you you cannot give heavy diet like milk to the child for few days as well as you cannot give sugar based food. you cannot give packet based foods as well as biscuit maida. kindly give curd buttermilk apple banana poha upma daliya. you can also give any recipe made from rice dal as well as sabudana khichdi. you cannot give outside juice as well as glucon d to the child. please meet your doctor because if it is viral or bacterial diarrhea will be confirmed only on examination. give sachet econorm twice daily for 3days. meet your doctor if it is not improving the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as feverz to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperaturez water. higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.
