Q.

Hello Dr, my baby will be 3 months old on 22nd March, she sucks her hand and drinks less milk. If I try to feed her sometimes she screams loudly. Is this normal?

A. Dear ma’am, babies do go through growth spurt at this time during which they can be fussy and refuse to feed. But this is temporary. Give more skin to skin time. When awake and not breastfeeding then you may try feeding expressed breast milk temporarily. As long as the baby’s weight gain is appropriate then need not worry
