because all babies grow uniquely.
so they achieve different milestones at different rates.
so , please don't take stress for this.
just keep talking with your child more.
ask simple questions , point out different objects and talk with your child for this .
it will help .
but never force your child.

Regarding Speech  Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interactiofn with the chfild so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need  to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
