Regularly clean the affected area properly with a suitable antiseptic to prevent the infection from spreading. In case the boil bursts, wipe the area clean with cotton and antiseptic wash. On drying, cover it with gauze or dressing to prevent the baby from touching it. In your case because the boils are spreading to different parts of the body, the doctor may prescribe some antibiotics. The doctor may also ask you to apply an anti infective cream on the boils.
