hello dr. my baby is 8 months old and she weighs only 6kg. doctor has prescribed to start toneferon drops but she vomits immidiately after taking those . can I mix drops with breastmilk or water and give her ?

A. for weight gain try to give food to baby for at least 4 times a day plus a fruit as per the season. also give milk as per the demand or at least after every 2-3 hours

A. change the brand of iron syrup. you can try ferrous ascorbate folic drops.

A. go to pediatrician again change the syrup

A. Do not ever mix any medicine with milk, as it can co agulate and lead to some toxic reaction, better give medicine with jaggery or dates syrup.
