hello Dr my baby is 4.5 yrs old n she is having fever from yesterday last month also she is having fever dr says it's viral n he is giving me calpol 250 5 ml but why she is having fever every month. is this necessary to give antibiotic? I m in worry why she is continuously having fever every month ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is very common that children will fall ill again and again that is within one or two months sometimes before 7 years of age.
this falling ill is just steps to to immunity build up in these children and you will see that after 7 years they will not fall ill that much frequently. x
till that time just take care of regular diet made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits and do not give outside pacxket foods and complete the vaccination of the child
