hello Dr. my baby is 2.4 year old . some time before he suffer from chest infection cough n fever after medication he is fine but his cough in chest is remaining. due to which he can not laugh and weep n not even speak properly . please suggest me home remedies for mention problem which can clear his cough.

A. it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /nightd and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent such temperature variations. there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhalerd therapy or nebulization. when allergies are not controlled they can lead to intermittent respiratory infections which needs other medicine

A. Ask your doctor they had advised you that can you nebulise a child or not because nebulisation is really helpful in reducing down congestion from the chest and throat of a child and it is totally a safe procedure to be done so kindly go ahead with that if your doctor suggest so
