hello Dr my baby girl is now 7 month old she is having itchiness on above her ear why is this happen

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. rubbing of ear as well as itching of the ears is totally normal.
if the child is not crying do not worry about it and to decrease the itching sensation you can apply coconut oil over it.
do not use earbuds to clean the internals ear cavity.
external ear can be cleaned with the help of clean cotton cloth.
treatmentd is given only if the child is crying with pain while itching.
for pain you can give paracetamol
