Hello Dr, my 8m old kid has running nose and cough, i see many discussions suggesting to give cough syrup, many suggesting not to give any medicines until 1 year, what’s the threshold, when should we seek medical attention, please guide. #AskTheExpert

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. tuscold drops can be givenCold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time
