Hello Dr. my 5 yr old in having loose motions from last 5 days and today is the 3rd day of giving Nutrolin B to him but recovery is very slow. plz suggest should I avoid milk, nuts ot any other things in his diet and what else can be done for quick recovery

A. hi mom it may take time if its due to infection hydrate well lime juice coco nut water buttermilk rice curd rice potatoes parathas with curds or dals

A. Banana:Bananas are easily digestible and can help firm up stools.Rice Water:Boil rice in excess water, strain the rice, and offer the clear rice water to the child. It helps in rehydration.Curd (Yogurt):Plain yogurt with probiotics can help restore the balance of good bacteria in the gut.Pomegranate Juice:Fresh pomegranate juice may have astringent properties that can aid in managing loose motions.Ginger Tea:Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties. A mild ginger tea (without caffeine) can be given in small quantities.
