Q.

hello dr. i have a vaginal infection so dr.prescribed me to take AF kit .. so pls tell me this kit also affects my periods ???? bcz from that day i miss my periods ....

A. no dear it never affects your menstrual cycle.. it's just an antifungal medicine. periods may remain irregular or delayed till one year due to hormonal fluctuations and you should always use effective contraceptive measures

A. Hello mommy, Periods never get affected due to AF kit. It's not related with any kind of vaginal infection not due to any treatment... Hormonal imbalance may be the reason ..you should consult your gynac once and ask why this is happening with you . she will do your check up and let you know properly what is the problem you are facing.
