Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. babies of 55 months of age it is normal for a baby to do thumb sucking as this is a sign of mental development you are not supposed to it and do not punish the baby for this

Vritika AroraMom of a 5 yr 2 m old child4 years agoA. Hi dear mom This is just a habit and baby will outgrow this habit as they grow up. U can give ur baby teethers to chew on. This way the baby will get distracted. Or cover ur baby hands with soft mittons to distract your baby
