Q.

Hello doctors having 4 month old baby boy when should liquids intake be started? really confused as ever has different opinions.

A. only after 5 months of age for further advise in relation to this you can get guided properly by consulting your nearby doctor to get relevant information and get all your doubts cleared which will be a better approach for this in a proper way it.t becomes difficult to explain here in details without proper examination

A. It is recommended to introduce semi solid foods in baby's diet between the age of 5-6 months as by then their immunity and digestive system develop a bit for outside foods. Start slow with 4-6 spoons per serving and twice a day. Feed lentil puree, mashed banana, apple, carrot and pear puree, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, ragi and sooji porridge, home made cerelac, etc.
