hello doctors! #ask the expert my daughter is 4 month old and she is suffering from plagiocephaly. (Flat head from back side). I know it doesn't affect brain development. But i m concerned about this because of the deformity and the shape she is getting. her head is bulging from top. Thats not looking good. please advice what should i do. ? Is cranial orthosis helmet can be helpful?? I can use that without consultation?? Because i consulted 2-3 doctors here they are just saying its ok some children have flat heads. There is no treatment to correct this. I have seen the usage of cranial helmets outside india but not in india. so please guide me?
