Q.

hello Doctors and Moms My baby is 13 months 20 days old.. but not yet walking . not showing any interest for independent walking . She pulls herself to standing position.. walks holding sofa chair sometimes our hand also. when we make her stand supporting her back to walls . and stands and calls her she takes 3-4 steps and falls. Kindly advise if this is normal and how to encourage her for walking.

A. A child can learn to walk independently between the time of 12 to 17 months don’t worry if your child is not confident enough to leave and stand for a while and then you just have to encourage your child right now there is no problem only just your encouragement is required
