Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. baby s eight months old it s ok for a baby to not do potty daily as the diet is basically liquid as milk. So even if baby does not poop for 7 days it s all ok and should not be given any medicine at all

If the baby is showing any discomfort symptoms while passing stools, blood or foul smell in the stools, hard stools are indications of some discomfort in the baby. Consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice. Give your baby a well balanced healthy diet and keep hydrated all day. Good luck and take care.
