Hello doctor Wednesday my baby took dpt and flu vaccine today Friday still my baby having 102 degree fever it’s normal or to be worried ......bt every 6 hrs giving paracetamol bt it’s 102 after some 2 hrs

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Sponge bath the baby and give calpol drops to the baby and repeat the dose after six hours and keep the baby hydrated usually within 24 to 48 hours fever subsides

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. Fever with most vaccines begins within 12 hours and lasts 2 to 3 days. This is normal, harmless and possibly helpful.
For fevers above 102° F (39° C), give an acetaminophen product (such as Tylenol).
If over 6 months old, can give an ibuprofen product (such as Advil).
For all fevers: Give extra fluids.
