hello doctor vaccination k baad baby bahot chidchida hogya h bahot dikkat se kha pii raha h ..aur uske thigh mein jis jagah injection laga tha waha swelling bhi horahi h..ice sponging karrahe h lekin ice lagne se baby bahot roraha h .. anything else I can do to relief my baby? kindly help

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can xapply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever x
