hello doctor, today my 20 days old baby are not sleep from 3 pm to till now 11.45 pm . almost 8 hours .... it is worried or serious ... and what can i do. please suggest

Author of questionGuardian of a 5 yr old boy4 years agoA. Dear sir, thankyou for your instant response. but everyone tell me . new born baby sleeping hours is 16 to 18 hours in a day. but today my baby not sleep more than 10 hours.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. it is considered to be normal as per the age and according to the details you have mentioned if not associated with any other problems repetitively,you should not worry it does not require afiyny kind of treatment or medicine if you have any more doubt you can get examination done once by the doctor available nearby and get further guidance regarding this.
