Hello doctor..till now my baby is completely on breastfeeding along with solid food , from last two days I'm feeding nanpro formula milk for one time but he is refusing to take..can I feed cowmilk?

A. Please avoid giving cow's milk before the baby turns one year old. At this age, cow's milk is not easily digestible by the stomach. At this age, iron is essential for baby's growth and development. Iron content is high in breast milk and iron fortified formula milk but it is less in cow's milk. So cow's milk at this age can cause iron deficiency anemia.
