Q.

hello doctor this is a baby boy in family 1.5 months old.He is having such rashes or wound. dont understand the cause... seeking you suggestion and any ointment for faster relief. plz help

A. If they look like pimples or like white spots, this is normal as this is called baby acne and this clears out on its own. If there are red bumps and your baby's skin is dry, scaly or itchy then start to avoid using dry air, soaps and detergents etc. Dress your baby in light clothes and use soft sheets for him. Use mild soaps with low pH value like Sebamed Baby Bathing Bar or Syndet Bar or Teddybar soap. Use mild moisturisers immediately after bath while the skin is still moist. Mamaearth products are good. Use natural products without any chemicals.
