Q.

Hello doctor sir..my is 1 month 14 days he is vomthing heavily..I feed my feed and formula milk also due to very less breast milk of mine .sir he is doing vomt very heavily whatever he drinks that much he vomit..morethan half of half day this vomit is going on after feed ..after feed within 2 mnts he vomt ..whenever the formula milk overs in the bottle and if my baby cries due insufficient milk I feed my brest feed at same time..is that reason foe vomit..as formula and breast feed milk are mixing at same time..sir please tell us the reason and solutions sir.and suggest best digestive baby medicine name sir.

A. avoid formula that is very normal that small children after taking breastfeeding will regurgitate small amount of milk. if the amount of milk is less than 10 ml no need to worry. this curd like milk is normal and no treatment is required. but if the quantity of milk is more than you have to rule out any gastric problem the child might be having. you can decrease the the regurgitation by giving more burping time to the child. also due to common pathway at the back between nasal cavity and the oral cavity the milk can come out through the nasal cavity also during the regurgitation and vomiting which is normal meet your dr if vomiting is in large quantity and happening again and again
