Start with liquids as weaning food
Thin dal, thin Upma, rice kanji, veg soups, steamed and puréed fruits, coconut water can be given
Do not add salt and sugar in the food
U can add ghee
Start with 3-4 tsp twice a day and then slowly increase quantity and frequency
Make sure the food is liquid in form as too thick food might cause choking
Use boiled and cooled water
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. It Has to be beginning of seventh month not beginning of six months so your child is turning six so once your child turns seven months as in the beginning that would be the right time for you to go ahead with giving semisolid food to the child
