hello doctor, my son is suffering with cough from one month, and was prescribed many syrups, we are in in touch with our paediatrician, he is given monteir syrup for month month n yesterday he has given macphyllim syrup since my son still has cough, can i no the difference between these two syrups, for wat it's given.

A. recurring and non resolving cough and cold is commonly due to allergy and less likely due to infection. can be due to either allergy or infection or bothx. along with cough and cold medicine nebulization will be required and your doctor will guide you regarding this. take a follow up with your doctor ixf the cough and cold is not improving with 3 days of medication . you can give home remedies like to see honey ginger and turmeric with milk.
