Q.

Hello Doctor, My son is 6.5 months, what all I can introduce him to eat.. in liquids and semi solids.. also can I introduce him salt or not?

A. Dear ma’am, ideally salt and sugar not to be given till one year. You can introduce single ingredient based porridges like rice, ragi, rice flakes etc, puréed banana, papaya etc

A. From 6–8 months old, feed your baby half a cup of soft food two to three times a day. Your baby can eat anything except honey ,salt and sugar, which she shouldn't eat until she is a year old. You can start to add a healthy snack, like mashed fruit, between meals.
