Hello Doctor, my son is 5 months, yesterday night accidentally a drop of hand-rub got into his eye, i just pat it gently on close eyes with clean cold water using wash cloth. Now his right eye is having redness. One more thing, his right eye was already little red before this incident but now the redness is more. Please help

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist6 years agoA. Depends on the contents of the hand rub. It causes severe hypersensitivity reaction sometimes even causing blurred vision. As the redness has increased it would be better if you consult an ophthalmologist
