Hello doctor My son is 5 months old and from past 2 days his body temperature changes very frequently. His body is sometimes very warm to touch and during that time while breast feeding his mouth also very hot and suddenly within 5-10 mins it changes to cold . Please advise

Author of questionMom of a 4 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. Thank you doctor . When I checked the temperature it is 97 (armpits) and rectal is 99 . But his body is warm to touch .. he is active and not cranky

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. you should check the temperature and if take more than 99 then give paracetamol to baby 3 to 4 times in a day and go to doctor for the examination of the baby
