hello Doctor, My son is 4 year 7 months old. He is having poop 3/4 times a day since few days. Sometimes there is pain in the stomach. Please advise something. Regards

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician2 years agoA. Hello,your baby boy is 5 years old and if he is getting a pain in his abdomen with 3/4 sticky patches then it’s an amoebiasis and needs Tablets oflomac M 200 mg twice a day for 7 days

Sometimes it could be due to indigestion also but if the child is passing motion more times in the day and complaining of stomach pain also then it would be better to check with your doctor one time a proper clarity can only be provided after physically examining the child
