Q.

hello doctor , my son is 4 months old. Currently we are not giving him any vitamin drops . Due to covid we couldn't consult a pediatrician after delivery. There are some white patches seen on his skin. Is it due to any vitamin deficiency?

A. Hello ma’am It’s okay if you’re not giving any vitamin C if you want you can start with vitamin D three drops now for at least six months apart from that the white patches mostly are due to the deficiency of calcium in the body and there is another issue also which is called vitiligo so without proper check up nothing can be said would advise you to consult your doctor ones
